Study of Traceability and Transparency in Food Networks in Hungary and Greece: Developing Pilot Model for Chain Management in Honey Production, Processing and Marketing.
The goal of this research is the study of traceability in food networks not only in abstract level but also as a tool which will produce competitive benefit. Specifically the research will be based on the study of honey networks distribution. They will be studied the factors which affect the honey traceability in food networks and also will be produced a prototype for managing traceability from the relative partners. Specifically, it will be developed a site which will contain information about the honey traceability. The consumers will have the opportunity to inform about the manufacture and production of this product by giving the specific product’s code. Also, the site will contain a set of forms for the record of new manufacture products. The results that will be produced from the research will be published and also will be comprised the base for further research.
